If you have any intention of throwing a gem against the New York Yankees, you better do it now because this lineup is about to look scary.

On Saturday, New York acquired designated hitter Edwin Encarnacion from the Mariners. He happens to lead the AL with 21 home runs. Oh and by the way, manager Aaron Boone announced on Sunday that outfield slugger Giancarlo Stanton will return to the lineup on Tuesday.

Aaron Judge is also close to returning, as he started a rehab assignment at Triple-A this weekend. So, what will this Yankee lineup look like with the addition of Encarnacion and the injured starters who are close to returning? This could work.

Lineup: 1.) 3B DJ LeMahieu 2.) RF Aaron Judge 3.) DH Edwin Encarnacion 4.) LF Giancarlo Stanton 5.) C Gary Sanchez 6.) CF Aaron Hicks 7.) 1B Luke Voit 8.) SS Didi Gregorius 9.) 2B Gleyber Torres

New York will also have a solid bench with third baseman Gio Urshela, outfielder Clint Frazier, veteran outfielder Brett Gardner and backup catcher Austin Romine.

You can go a number of ways constructing this lineup with all this firepower. I mean, it seems ridiculous to have Gleyber Torres hitting ninth, but where are you going to put him?

A 2-3-4-5 of Judge, Encarnacion, Stanton and Sanchez is arguably the best, most-powerful middle of the order in baseball, and they still have Luke Voit coming down in the lineup.

They could still be a little strikeout prone, but as long as they don't have that issue at the same time, there is no quit in this lineup and everyone has the potential to go deep.
