The search to improve their bench continues now that the Warriors have agreed to a training camp deal with a former Kentucky Wildcats standout, per Adrian Wojnarowski. Welcome to San Francisco, Andrew Harrison.

Golden State is emaciated at point guard. Since new star D'Angelo Russell is expected to fill Klay Thompson's absence at the two-guard spot, Stephen Curry is the only full-time point guard on the current roster.

Harrison has a chance to turn things around if he can make it to the Warriors' regular season roster and stay put. The Texas native put up 9.5 points per game with Memphis during the 2017-18 season, but bounced around to Cleveland and New Orleans last year.

Consistency is key for an NBA point guard, and growth must be apparent in Harrison's fifth professional campaign. Though most are counting Golden State out of the Western Conference picture without Kevin Durant, the Warriors' expectations are still high as they cross the Bay to open up the state-of-the-art Chase Center.

By the looks of his Instagram post, Harrison's been working through the summer, and is looking to taste the playoffs for the first time since his rookie year. The odds are in Harrison's favor given the Warriors' needs and open roster spot, so it's up to him to make the most of it.
