VIDEO: Eloy Jimenez Uncorks 3-Run Shot to Give White Sox Lead Over Royals

A battle of two non-playoff teams is producing significant highlights, as the Chicago White Sox got on the board early in impressive fashion. Rookie phenom Eloy Jimenez parked a ball in the seats in the bottom of the first, giving the Sox a 3-2 lead over the Royals.

Jimenez's 26th home run of the year came on a two-out, two-strike fastball that Glenn Sparkman left up in the zone.

Both the White Sox and Royals are destined for long rebuilds, but expect to see Jimenez causing nightmares for AL Central pitching for years to come. Sparkman just got his first taste of the 22-year-old's power, with many more doses to be delivered in the future.
