The latest Rob Gronkowski rumor of the offeason is here!

Reports suggest Gronkowski and Tom Brady recently worked out together at UCLA, with Gronkowski catching passes from the 41-year old quarterback.

Gronkowski retired after the Patriots won their sixth Super Bowl title over the Los Angeles Rams this past season, capping a short, but successful career for the tight end.

This could easily just be two friends staying in shape, especially with Brady preparing for his 20th NFL season. Brady could've asked his buddy to catch passes for him to hang out and get some work in.

With Gronkowski being so young, it's natural for speculation to surround a potential return throughout this season, especially if his presence is sorely missed early in the season.

And with private workouts between him and his former quarterback reported, it'll be interesting to see if Gronkowski flirts with a return to New England this season.

If he wants to return, he'll have to put back on the weight he recently lost only a few months after officially retiring. He's looking more like a slot receiver than a tight end now-a-days.

The Patriots have a Gronk-sized hole on offense now, and could use another weapon for Brady.
