VIDEO: Rob Gronkowski Appears to Have Lost a Bunch of Weight and Looks Completely Different
By Michael Luciano

Former New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski, who made his name as a 270-pound juggernaut with the athleticism of most wide receivers, is just a few months removed from winning a Super Bowl and making one of the key plays in that game. But since he's retired, almost all of that Herculean frame has been sapped away, and Gronk is looking much more gaunt than he was the last time we saw him.

I don't know who that is, but that can't be the Gronk we know and love. Apparently it's really easy to lose weight when you're not benching 400 pounds and carb loading every day. Who knew?
So Gronk is RETIRED retired ?

Here's a good side-by-side from when he was in uniform:
It looks like @RobGronkowski lost a lot of weight. He really stay retired despite some rumors he'll possibly come back during next season. pic.twitter.com/hpzxaSPoSZ

Once NFL players are away from the nutritionists and weight rooms, they often drop a lot of weight in a short amount of time. Former Chargers lineman Nick Hardwick, who weighed 305 pounds when he was playing center in San Diego, showed up to his retirement press conference at a lean 220 years ago.
So Nick Hardwick now weighs less than me. I'd say he probably decided to retire before this week. (h/t @Chargers) pic.twitter.com/yh4DvhHkgO

Future Hall of Fame lineman Alan Faneca, often considered the strongest guy in the league, is just barely over 200 pounds and is running marathons.
Alan Faneca was an NFL offensive lineman. Now he's skinny and ran a marathon. http://t.co/fQXkdzQJey pic.twitter.com/KVpc3duAPU

While we don't expect to see Gronk at the Boston Marathon anytime soon, he's clearly living his best life after hanging up his cleats.
