Steph Curry made his big return against the Toronto Raptors, and now he's back on the bench, at least for one game.

The Golden State Warriors star will not suit up for Saturday's showdown against the Philadelphia 76ers after it was revealed that he has been dealing with an illness.

Curry has played in just five games this year thanks to a broken hand that he suffered early on in the season.

In his first game back against the Raptors, he gave his team a bit of a jolt, putting up 23 points, seven assists and six rebounds in 27 minutes. He looked particularly fluid with Andrew Wiggins, who was acquired from the Minnesota Timberwolves at the trade deadline.

This season has been the stuff of nightmares for the Warriors. After reigning atop the Western Conference for five years, they've plummeted to the very bottom of the league, posting a league-worst 14-49 record thus far.

Having Curry return seemed to be a ray of hope for the squad to play some competitive basketball, but they'll just have to deal without him on Saturday as they have all season.
