On Thursday, the Oklahoma Sooners landed 2021 5-star quarterback Brock Vandagriff, who happens to be the top recruit in his class and is expected to be the next best thing behind center.

Vandagriff is just one of many quarterbacks who have decided to take their talents to Oklahoma to play for head coach Lincoln Riley, who has turned the Sooners into a quarterback factory.

If you didn't think Oklahoma was QBU before now, then the signing of Vandagriff should tip the scale in their favor. We are talking about the Sooners going into the state of Georgia and coming away with the top overall recruit. That doesn't happen, especially deep into SEC country when you have Alabama, Georgia and Florida State vying for his services.

Oh, and did I mention the other quarterbacks who have thrived under Riley, including Baker Mayfield (when he was the OC) and Kyler Murray, both of whom are Heisman Trophy winners and No. 1 overall picks in the draft? Now they have former Bama quarterback Jalen Hurts in the fold and heralded QB recruit Spencer Rattler coming in this year. It's not fair.

Riley and his staff continue to bring in the cream of the crop at the QB position and it ends up turning into gold, both from a team and individual perspective.

I'm sure he's been getting plenty of calls from the NFL to be a head coach or offensive coordinator, but when you continue to nail the recruiting trail at that position, why would you leave?
