The next in a long line of successful quarterbacks at the University of Oklahoma has just signed his LOI to play for Lincoln Riley and co.
Rattler committed to the Sooners in the summer of 2017, and has remained loyal ever since. But how quickly will he see the field in Norman? The answer is complicated.
Oklahoma is likely in the market for a transfer QB yet again, as they nabbed Baker Mayfield and Kyler Murray in the same fashion. With so many high-profile passers on the market, including maybe Georgia's Justin Fields, Rattler could be waiting for his turn on the sidelines at least a couple seasons.
Of course, should Riley strike out or choose to skip that option altogether, Rattler will have every opportunity to compete for the starting spot right away with Austin Kendall and Tanner Mordecai.
