Last Chance U's Malik Henry Loses Starting QB Job at Nevada

The hit Netflix show Last Chance U continues to churn out exciting storylines, but not very successful football players at the next level.
Malik Henry made headlines for his behavior throughout the series, but the Last Chance U quarterback's second chance at a college career is not off to a good start. Henry lost the Nevada starting gig to redshirt freshman Carson Strong.

Henry, the Independence Community College attendee, starred in the third season of Last Chance U, drumming up drama with his behavior on the field and in the classroom. He transferred to the University of Nevada after that season in hopes of securing a starting job.
Although wildly entertaining, Last Chance U has not produced many success stories at the NFL level. While there are notable alumni of East Mississippi Community College who made it big like LeGarrette Blount, none have come during the filming of the show.

Dakota Allen is the only player to be drafted by an NFL team when he went to the Rams in the seventh round of the 2019 NFL Draft. The former Texas Tech standout went to EMCC after burglary charges got him dismissed from Texas Tech. He had a successful season at EMCC before re-enrolling at Texas Tech.
For Henry, his road back to success just got a bit more tough.
