Justin Fields transferred to Ohio State with monster expectations attached to his name. He responded by leading the Buckeyes to a 12-0 record and now he is a favorite to win the Heisman Trophy.

Fields does not have the flashy numbers of Joe Burrow. However, what he has done is play so well in every game that the opponent is out of reach before they know what happened. His 37 touchdowns and one interception are insane numbers when considering he ended up 51st overall in passing yards with 2,654.

Fields didn't have to throw for 400 yards per game. He was efficient and had at least two passing touchdowns in every battle this season. The quarterback is also versatile and had 111 rushes for 470 yards and 10 touchdowns. In fact, he only had four games without a rushing touchdown.

Now comes the Big Ten Championship Game where Fields enters nursing a potential nagging injury. What he needs to do is lead Ohio State to another double-digit victory over Wisconsin and he will end up in New York for the Heisman ceremony, no doubt about it.

This type of victory doesn't need to feature Fields having a record day in passing yards. He needs to be his normal self, which is hovering around that 68% completion percentage and not turning the ball over.

Being a pure passer and not running against Wisconsin, while having a 300-yard day, will show Heisman voters that Fields has the ability to put up Burrow-like numbers. He just hasn't had to ball out like that given how dominant his team has been and because he can run for easy yards when needed.

Fields has one more shot to prove why he deserves the Heisman Trophy. Another efficient performance out of him should make it a tough vote between Fields, Burrow and Chase Young.
