Eagles Re-Sign Super Bowl Hero Corey Clement Out of Nowhere
By Michael Luciano

After serving as an instrumental member of the Philadelphia Eagles 2017-18 championship season, Corey Clement barely saw the field last year due to injury and some new offseason acquisitions.
Despite all that, Eagles fans still had a soft spot for the versatile running back, and the team gave Clement another chance to prove it on the field by signing him to a one-year contract.

Clement was a star at Wisconsin, but he went undrafted, and the Glassboro, NJ native ended up signing with his hometown team.
He was limited to backup and special teams duties before an injury ended his season prematurely. While the presence of Miles Sanders means that Clement might not get tons of opportunity on offense, the fact he was the Eagles' leading receiver in their Super Bowl LII win over the Patriots with 100 yards shows that Doug Pederson is more than comfortable leaning on him.

Clement isn't going to take the starting job away from Sanders, but he'll be able to spell him on passing downs given how versatile he is. The former Badger looks poised to remind the NFL he can play in 2020.
