The time is right for the Philadelphia Eagles to make a move. After winning the Super Bowl two years ago, the team has continuously dealt with injuries and terrible play in the secondary.

With 10 selections in the upcoming NFL Draft and $40 million in cap space, the Eagles have the necessary ammo. In terms of free agency, according to the latest buzz, Philly is going to be "all in" on Dallas Cowboys star cornerback Byron Jones.

The Uconn product has been a Cowboy his entire five-year career and has put up elite numbers at cornerback the past two seasons. Dallas is expected to commit most of their money to quarterback Dak Prescott and wideout Amari Cooper, which leaves Jones likely unable to remain with the team. After all, we heard at the Combine that the two sides met with the understand that Jones would be hitting free agency.

According to Eagles insider Adam Caplan, the Eagles have already made efforts to reach out to Jones' agent prior to free agency. He said on his latest podcast Inside the Birds that the Eagles are the first team up when it comes to Jones.

Rated as a top-five cornerback in the NFL by Pro Football Focus, Jones, no matter where he goes, is going to earn a lot of money in free agency. It looks as though the Eagles are willing to cough up that cash after all the struggles they've seen in their defensive backfield over the last two years.
