Dez Bryant Backs Dak Prescott's $40 Million Request With Simple Tweet

Recent reports surfaced that Dallas Cowboys' quarterback Dak Prescott turned down the Cowboys' offer of $30 million per year in search of $40 million annually. Even if 99% of people feel he's not worth that pay day, one prominent former Cowboy is a part of that 1%.
Former teammate Dez Bryant tweeted out his support for the Cowboys starting quarterback.
Pay Dak his 40Mil and don’t @ me

It's odd that such an outspoken and emotional player kept it short and sweet, but here we are.
Bryant is one of the few people who could accurately assess Prescott's work ethic, skill and value to the Dallas organization. Even with that being said, Prescott is widely considered an average to above average quarterback around the league. Not even top tier quarterbacks make that kind of coin.
I can confirm reports that QB Dak Prescott has, in fact, turned down 30M a year offer and is instead seeking 40M a year per source informed. #Cowboys

If Prescott is truly seeking $40 million, he'll face a lot of backlash from fans who would rather see that money spent filling out the roster, or securing deals for Ezekiel Elliott and Amari Cooper.
Dez is sticking out for his former QB, and if Prescott is seeking $40 million, Bryant doesn't see a reason not to give it to him.
