The Dallas Cowboys just can't catch a break.

Not only does the organization have the Ezekiel Elliott holdout to worry about, but now offensive lineman Zack Martin will undergo an MRI after dealing with back spasms over the last several days of NFL Training Camp.

According to head coach Jason Garrett, Martin's back has been "bothering him a little bit,” but he is still “moving around fine,” and will have an MRI done just to be sure. While the five-time Pro-Bowler was out of action, Xavier Su’a-Filo took the reps at right guard during Friday’s walkthrough.

It cannot be overstated how important Zack Martin is to Dallas' offensive success. He isn't a five-time All-Pro guard for no reason. In fact, he has 315 of them, one for every pound of his body that he uses to his advantage in each and every game.

The 28-year-old veteran has only missed two games in his illustrious five-year career with the Cowboys, but it's unknown whether his back soreness will lead to any further complications.
