Colin Cowherd Admitting His Sports Takes Are Pretty Much Purely for Profit Proves Media is Doomed
By Chris Pyo

Colin Cowherd seriously better have been hacked.
Either that, or his feelings must have been badly hurt, so much in fact that it led him to somehow justify tweeting this out.
People get in trouble on twitter when they think their tweets have impact. Your/my tweets aren’t altering shit. This platform is 99 percent projecting, preening, validation seeking, self preservation. I tweet for one reason. ?My peeps sell this nonsense and daddy gets new kicks

Um, Colin? You really didn't have to say something like that and expose the entirety of sports media. I wouldn't be surprised if Stephen A. Smith threw a fit after reading this tweet.
Cowherd is basically admitting that his sports takes are dictated by the opinions he knows will make him money. That might be his boldest take yet, and we've already witnessed some of his most outrageous takes.
Understandably, plenty of fans and Cowherd followers responded to his tweet, and they had a lot to say.
This is your best take of all time

Are we really surprised here? In a world of Skip Baylesses and Stephen A. Smiths, Cowherd is right there as a hot take machine looking to get a rise out of anyone in his path. We see it every day, most notably with his Baker Mayfield bit.
Hopefully people get sick of this one day and Cowherd can stop bragging in front of everyone that he's rolling in dough because of his "skill" that constitutes getting under people's skin really well.
