Alex Bregman, in one of the weakest moves of the 2020 MLB season, was so offended by LeBron James' production company creating a documentary highlighting the Houston Astros' sign stealing scandal that he decided to break off his association with Klutch Sports.

Bregman has found new representation, as he signed with Scott Boras following his very public divorce from Klutch.

Bregman's decision to sign with master negotiator Boras seems a bit odd considering that Bregman is already signed with Houston through the 2024 season.

Bregman hit .296 with 41 home runs and 112 RBI last year, proving that he is still one of the game's best power hitters. Whenever the time comes for a new contract, Bregman now has the mighty negotiating power of Boras behind him, which seems like the best decision for a player of his caliber.

Boras might be the most unlikeable agent in the game, and Bregman's lack of contrition in his apology for blatantly cheating makes him one of the most reviled players in the sport. A match made in heaven?
