Even though the Detroit Tigers are in the cellar of the American League, there's still a chance they stand pat at the trade deadline. However, they've received a lot of interest in left-handed starter Matthew Boyd and closer Shane Greene, and if they are blown away by a team you have to imagine they'll be willing to part with either one of these arms.

So, if they are dangling both of these arms out there, here are five prospects the Tigers should target in a deal involving Matthew Boyd and Shane Greene.

5. Minnesota Twins, OF Alex Kirilloff

The Minnesota Twins could use both a starter and a reliever, and if they truly believe this first-place team can contend, they have to be willing to move a top prospect. Outfielder Alex Kirilloff has the tools to be a middle-of-the-order bat, which is something the Tigers desperately need.

4. Philadelphia Phillies, OF Adam Haseley

The Phillies don't have a top-tier farm system, but with all the money they've spent, they can't sit on their hands at the deadline, especially with glaring weaknesses in the rotation and bullpen. Adam Haseley has already had some great moments in his small stint in the big leagues, and he would immediately start in this Tigers outfield.

3. New York Yankees, OF Clint Frazier

Clint Frazier is technically not a prospect anymore, but he doesn't have a spot on this Yankees roster, making him very much available through trade. Frazier isn't going to win a Gold Glove, but he has premium power, something Detroit is desperately looking for on their roster and in the minor league pipeline.

2. Houston Astros, OF Kyle Tucker

How much longer can the Houston Astros hold Kyle Tucker down? They want to portray that he's the future of this franchise, but he's dominating at Triple-A (.929 OPS with 25 home runs) and it doesn't look like they are clearing a roster spot for him anytime soon. Especially if they want both Boyd and Greene, Tucker has to be part of the deal or you hand up the phone.

1. Atlanta Braves, OF Cristian Pache

The Braves don't seem eager to move any of their top prospects, but they want to augment their pitching staff and give themselves a chance against the Dodgers, they might need to be willing to use some of that prospect capital to get that done. If Boyd and Greene are real targets, both of whom aren't rentals, stud outfield prospect Cristian Pache would have to headline the deal going back to Detroit. He's young (20) and on the verge of making his debut. This is the kind of position player the Tigers could build their future around.
