Cubs pitcher Yu Darvish has been arguably the best starting pitcher in the MLB since the All-Star Break, throwing 12 scoreless innings with 15 strikeouts and only allowing 4 hits.

He also just won his first game at Wrigley Field since signing with the Cubs last offseason.

Yes, you read that correctly.

Darvish picked up his first win at Wrigley against the Reds Tuesday night, throwing six shutout innings, striking out seven and only allowing two hits in the Cubs 5-2 victory.

The four time All-Star only has three wins in his Cubs career, which is one less than his total from nine starts with the Los Angeles Dodgers. He very notably has struggled to pick up decisions this season, totaling only six wins or losses in 19 starts this year.

Darvish was limited to only eight starts in his first season with the Cubs thanks to an elbow injury that nagged him all year. He only recorded a win in one game last season, and just picked up only his second win of this season on Tuesday night.

In 27 total starts with the Cubs, Darvish finally gets to celebrate his first victory at Wrigley Field.
