The Toronto Blue Jays (48-71) got the best of the New York Yankees (76-40) Friday night to even the four-game series at one game apiece. There hasn't been much quality pitching this far, so who can combine their lethal offense with some success on the mound in third game of this matchup?
How to Live Stream Blue Jays vs Yankees
First pitch is scheduled for 3:07 p.m. ET at Rogers Centre. The game will be televised locally on the YES Network and Sportsnet, and you can find a live stream of the game on the MLB Streams subreddit.
Yankees Lineup
Yankees manager Aaron Boone made some swift changes to the lineup, including the addition of catcher Gary Sanchez, who was activated from the injured list prior to Saturday's game. He'll bat cleanup behind shortstop Didi Gregorius.
His off day on Friday didn't last long, as he came in after three innings, but Aaron Judge is back in the starting lineup and batting second behind second baseman DJ LeMahieu.
New York is going with an opener, as right-hander Chad Green is coming out of the pen to start Saturday's game. This isn't new to Green, who has made 39 appearances this season, nine of which are considered starts. Over 45.2 innings of work he owns a 4.93 ERA with 59 strikeouts.
Blue Jays Lineup
Toronto is rolling with a similar lineup today, with the biggest change being Justin Smoak starting at first base and hitting fifth in place of Brandon Drury.
Bo Bichette will remain in the leadoff spot, but he'll be the designated hitter with Freddy Galvis getting the start at shortstop. Teoscar Hernandez drove in three runs last night, but he'll move down to the eighth spot today.
Right-hander Jacob Waguespack will get the start for the Blue Jays, who, in seven appearances (five starts), owns a 3-1 record with a 4.00 ERA and has 28 strikeouts over 36 innings. This will be his first career start against the Yankees.
