It seems like every highly-profiled football showdown, college or pro, has been marred by refereeing controversy. The Rose Bowl matchup between Wisconsin and Oregon, which saw the Ducks prevail 28-27, was no different.

Among others, a fraudulent holding call on the Badgers in the endzone, a blatant hands to the face call on Badgers quarterback Jack Coan before he tossed an interception, and a pick play that was inexplicably ruled as OPI were the calls most thoroughly ridiculed.

In the wake of the L, and horrid officiating display, a Wisconsin optician is graciously offering free eye exams to all referees employed by the NCAA.

That's right, folks.

Dr. Eric Knight of "Knight Vision and Glaucoma Specialists" took to Facebook the following day in a lengthy post to claim at any NCAA refs would be treated to a free eye exam due to a "lack of attention for eye care that has occurred" during the Rose Bowl.

"Since we all now know that the offensive pass interference call, which potentially changed the outcome of yesterday's (Jan. 2) 2020 Rose Bowl was blatantly wrong, I will assume it was because the ref who called the play can't see," read Knight's post.

NCAA zebras should absolutely take advantage of this once-in-a-lifetime deal.
