Western Michigan's Football Field is So Flooded You Could Actually Row a Boat Across it
By Parker White

Where is P.J. Fleck when you need him?
Fleck, who is now the head coach of the Minnesota Gophers, use to always talk about "rowing the boat" when he was the head coach at Western Michigan, and with the current state of the football field, you actually could. Check out these photos of WMU's flooded field:

Just like other parts of the country, the western part of Michigan received more heavy rain overnight, putting Waldo Stadium entirely under water.
PJ Fleck left far too soon! Row that boat. https://t.co/PsEDWpvJZD

Luckily, the football season is still several months away, but it's not a good that the playing surface looks like a lake. This isn't the first time this has happened, as they needed to pump water out of there back in 2017 when they experienced flooding. This time around, they'll let most of the water drain naturally.
