Warriors Used Childhood Film While Scouting Seth Curry Before Initial Matchup Years Ago
By Michael Luciano

The Golden State Warriors have always had a habit of thinking outside of the box before the rest of the league even knows there is a box.
As the Warriors prepare to lock horns with Seth Curry and the Portland Trail Blazers in the Western Conference Finals, Steve Kerr reminded us that the Dubs coaching staff went way back to scout the Blazers sharpshooter before their initial matchup years ago.
Steve Kerr pregame story: Said the team showed old clip in film a couple years ago before initial Steph/Seth game of the Curry brothers playing 1-on-1 when they were children. Used it as a reminder to send Seth left.

Apparently the secret to slowing down Curry, who is currently connecting on 45 percent of his three pointers, lies in some grainy backyard film from when they were in grade school.
When both Curry brothers start locking horns, they will become the first pair of brothers to ever play against each other in the Western Conference Finals.
For the first time in @NBAHistory, brothers will meet in the Conference Finals as @StephenCurry30 & the @warriors face @sdotcurry & the @trailblazers! #NBAPlayoffs

Apparently Denver wasn't watching enough elementary school film of Curry, because he was vital down the stretch of those last few games. Maybe this will be the key to securing another finals birth for the Warriors.
