Vontaze Burfict NSFW Comments About Roger Goodell Further Prove He Should Be Banned From NFL

It was almost perfectly ironic that suspended linebacker Vontaze Burfict came out and blasted the NFL in wake of the Myles Garrett-Mason Rudolph brawl from Thursday Night Football.

While some of his rant was (marginally) sensible, the diatribe he unleashed in the direction of Roger Goodell proves, once and for all, that he should receive a permanent ban from the NFL. Judge for yourselves, folks.

“I met Roger Goodell in New York and he was a total b----,” Burfict said. “He was a b----. He didn’t let anybody speak, he rushed us in and out of the meeting. The meeting was bulls---. He already had the suspension in his hand."

If that quote doesn't tell you that Burfict has no absolution for his murky past in the league -- we've honestly lost count as to how many suspensions he's served -- then nothing will.

Burfict was suspended for the rest of the 2019 season for his indefensible hit on Colts tight end Jack Doyle back in Week 4.

That punishment, of course, means that Burfict would be eligible to return in 2020. Coming at the commissioner of the league as distinctly as he did on Friday, however, should serve as the final straw.

It's evident that he has no remorse for his actions and the bottom line is that when he's not head hunting defenseless offensive players, he's unleashing profanities at Goodell.

We've thought this for quite a while, but it's officially time for Goodell to lay down the hammer and hand Burfict a lifetime ban.

Enough is enough.
