Remember Friday? Like, two days ago? Trust me, 48 hours can be a long time. I couldn't for the life of me tell you what I had for breakfast that day.

But what football fans are going to remember loud and clear is what Eagles linebacker Zach Brown said about his former teammate, Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins.

"Cousins, I think every defense is going to want that guy to throw the ball. For me, that’s probably the weakest part of their offense is him," Brown said, per ESPN's Tim McManus. "You want Kirk Cousins to get it in his hands.”

Well, time fairly makes fools of us all, because Cousins came up aces in today's clash with Philadelphia, tossing four touchdowns on 22-of-29 passing for 333 yards. When the dust had settled, Minnesota earned a 38-20 home victory in which their guests did not score a single point in the first or fourth quarters.

Brown has to be feeling pretty sheepish right about now.

Feeding your opponent prime bulletin board material can be a dangerous game. In this case, it blew up in the Eagles' faces. Now, they're suddenly 3-3 and wondering just what went wrong that allowed a much-maligned QB like Cousins to thrash them over and over like he did.
