Eagles' Zach Brown Fires Major Insult at Former Teammate Kirk Cousins Before Week 6 Clash

At this point, it's fair to say that Kirk Cousins consistently fails to live up to expectations.

The Vikings quarterback ended last season as horribly as one could imagine, coming up ineffectually in pivotal games and being one of the main reasons the team didn't make the playoffs.

This poor play has continued into this season with more horrible performances. And it's now looking like players around the league aren't scared to tell the truth about his ability-- just on Friday, former teammate and current Eagles linebacker Zach Brown let the media know what he thought of Cousins' passing skills.

Brown called out his former quarterback, saying his passing is poor and careless. Perhaps he's trying to get in his head before Philadelphia's matchup against Minnesota this Sunday, but in all likelihood, he's speaking straight facts.

Regardless, there is definitely some truth to Brown's comments. Cousins has only thrown five touchdowns all season, and has the 28th-best QBR out of 30 qualified starters. This is all made worse due to his enormous contract that has him making $58 million over the next two years.

We'll see if Cousins can make Brown eat his words on Sunday. But based on recent trends, perhaps fans shouldn't hold their breaths.
