VIDEO: Vlad Guerrero Jr. Fires a Missile to 1st Base and Hits Yankees' Thairo Estrada in the Head

Vlad Guerrero Jr. has an absolute cannon over at the hot corner, but sometimes accuracy is a bit of an issue for the 20 year old. Take this instance, for example, as Yankees infielder Thairo Estrada was trying to beat Vlad's throw to first. Well, the ball certainly beat him, but not to first base. Instead, he was nailed in the head by the missile sent across the diamond from Vladdy.

While he was wearing a batting helmet, which thankfully didn't fall off on his sprint to first base, the impact will certainly sting for a while. While the power was there in Vladdy's heave to first, the accuracy fell short and resulted in a dangerous play at the bag.

Estrada was ruled safe on the play, and stayed in the game. Guerrero was charged with a throwing error, While Estrada managed to reach home and give the Yankees their first run of the game.
