Vladimir Guerrero Jr. hasn't exactly lit up the major leagues since his promotion in early May. However, that doesn't mean he's not flashing his unlimited potential.

Vlad Jr. has one of the best swings in the league already, loaded with power, and when he connects he can hit it as hard as anyone in the league. In fact, Guerrero Jr. launched a 116.3 mph single against the Rockies on Friday, his FOURTH batted ball of 115 mph or more. Amazingly, Guerrero Jr. accomplished this feat in in 29 games, while no other player in the league has more than two hits of such exit velocity.

That's an unreal statistic for the 20-year-old, especially considering he could still develop more power with age. For now he's been mashing the cover off the baseball, though pitchers have been threatened by his slugging ability and have carefully pitched around him.

He's currently slashing .229/.302/.410 but those numbers stand to improve as the weather heats up and he gets more comfortable teeing off against the best in the business.

This just proves to show that the excitement around Vlad Jr. was well deserved and he's living up to it. It also shows where he could be as he matures through his years in the MLB.

This stat not only says that Vlad Jr. is on his way to becoming one of the best power hitters in baseball, it says that he may already be there. Guerrero Jr.'s .247 BABIP suggests he may be a victim of bad luck so far, so expect a monster summer from the son of one of baseball's All-Time favorites.
