VIDEO: This Andrew Wiggins Sequence Easily Proves There Are 100 NBA Players Better Than Him

If you haven't already, it's officially time to give up on Andrew Wiggins. The Minnesota Timberwolves "star" was expected to have a breakout season in 2019-2020, but it's already off to a bad start. Remember when he complained that there weren't 100 NBA players better than him after ESPN released its power rankings? Well, just look at him try to channel his inner Kawhi Leonard on this shot attempt against the Hornets on Friday.

Aimless dribbling, terrible separation, awful shot. Really dude?

The former first overall pick in 2014 was lauded for his tremendous physical gifts and upside, but he's never reached that potential and can barely be considered an above average player right now.

It's unfortunate to see what Wiggins has become. In just his third season, he averaged almost 24 points per game on 36% shooting from three. That's still the best year of his career, and it's looking less and less likely he'll ever get back to that point.
