VIDEO: Steve Kerr Talks About Possibility of DeMarcus Cousins Re-Signing With Warriors

Fresh off an NBA Finals loss to the Toronto Raptors, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr now needs to contemplate how Golden State will handle the offseason, which will have a huge effect on the future of the dynasty. Kevin Durant, Klay Thompson and DeMarcus Cousins are all set to become free agents in July, which leaves Kerr and the Warriors front office with no shortage of decisions to make. Speaking of Cousins:

The head coach doesn't sound particularly confident that the talented big man will be back with the team in October. Of course, Boogie took a very team-friendly one-year deal to come to the bay last offseason, which begs the question of whether he'll be looking to earn more money on his next contract.

If he wishes to return to Golden State and compete for a championship, he'll be asked to take significantly less money than he would garner on the open market.

Cousins had an injury-plagued postseason, which ultimately led to a lackluster performance in the NBA Finals. It will be interesting to see how his decision-making process unfolds, and how heavily he weighs the financial aspect of things against his desire to win a title.
