VIDEO: South Carolina QB Ryan Hilinksi Adorably Assures His Mom He's Okay After Scary Injury

Being a parent of a college athlete has to be one of the most nerve-racking things ever, especially when your child is playing in a dangerous sport like football. Just ask Ryan Hilinksi's mom, who had to watch her son suffer a frightening injury on Saturday against Georgia.

Thankfully for the mother, Hilinski gave her the thumbs up while getting treated on the sideline. This was the apparently leg injury he suffered while being sacked.

Luckily the South Carolina quarterback wasn't taken straight to the locker room, and he even stayed on the sideline in support of his team as they stunned the Bulldogs at Sanford Stadium.
