Felipe Franks will finally quiet down his critics after a strong showing on Saturday against South Carolina. The Gators narrowly came away with the win in this one, 35-31, led by the sophomore QB. Franks finished the day with a passing touchdown and two running scores.

He repeatedly shushed the crowd every time he found his way into the end zone.

Franks has been hearing it from fans all season long and clearly was happy to silence them for the time being.

The game was winnable for the Gamecocks, but they just couldn't manage to stop the Gators offense when it mattered most. After Franks rushed into the end zone for a second time, South Carolina got the ball back and failed to march down field late in the game.

Despite a good game from QB Jake Bentley, South Carolina fell to Florida largely due to an inability to come up big on their final few drives. With less than four minutes to go in the fourth, Bentley threw an interception to cornerback C.J. Henderson.

After that, the Gators just had to run out the clock. It was a great contest throughout and one that looked like it could have gone either way for the majority of the day.
