VIDEO: Rays Prospect Chris Betts Celebrates Midwest League Home Run Derby Win With Colossal Bat Flip

The Midwest League Home Run Derby took place on Monday night, and among the final two competitors was Tampa Bay Rays prospect Chris Betts. With the tally tied at 7, Betts was eager to clobber one more pitch to get the victory. And boy did he, but what was better than the hit itself was the gargantuan bat flip that followed.

It's hard to even classify that as a bat flip. In reality, Betts full on heaved his bat down the first base line in celebration of his 8th homer of the round.

It's a bat chuck that would make Tim Anderson proud, as Betts' lumber nearly ended up in the outfield grass.
