Baltimore might be among the worst teams in baseball, but that shouldn't be an excuse for a poor showing of fundamentals. The Orioles somehow managed to make their defense look even worse by giving away an easy chance at a double play with the bases loaded during their contest on Thursday night with the Indians.
Failing to tag Francisco Lindor, being late on the throw to first, and then forgetting about the runner at third bolting for home made the Orioles look like a little league team as the Indians extended their lead.
You'd think scoring seven runs off Trevor Bauer would be enough, but this is the Orioles we're talking about.
