VIDEO: Notre Dame and Louisville Fumble On 3 Consecutive Plays In Comically Awful Display

The first 28 minutes of Notre Dame-Louisville was a pretty solid game, as Jawon Pass and the Cardinals were hanging right with Ian Book and the ninth-ranked Irish. The last minute of the first half, however, was a comedy of errors worthy of the Benny Hill music. On a long third down, Pass was hit by Notre Dame safety Alohi Gilman and put the ball on the ground, which Notre Dame quickly recovered.

If you thought that was the end of it, oh how wrong you were.

On the very next play, Book pulled a Mark Sanchez and ran into his own teammate, giving the Cardinals the ball back.

Rather than take advantage, Louisville managed to bungle their second chance, as Pass was unable to corral the shotgun snap and fumbled, making it the third straight play with a fumble.

More like Jawon Fumble, in my opinion.

If I saw that in a Pop Warner game I'd be livid, let alone a game with a top 10 team. The good news is that there is nowhere for Louisville to go but up.
