VIDEO: Michigan Narrowly Escapes Army Upset Bid in OT With Clutch Sack and Fumble Recovery

It was looking like Army had a legitimate chance to upset the seventh-ranked Wolverines as they marched down the field in double overtime, but Michigan's defensive line was able to strip Army quarterback Kelvin Hopkins Jr. of the ball on third down, and Josh Uche came up with the fumble to cap off a 24-21 thriller.

Shea Patterson had an especially messy game, fumbling the ball away twice in the first half, but in the end Michigan was able to overcome his sloppiness and clutch out the win.

The Black Knights entered as 23.5-point underdogs, but that didn't stop them from putting up a true battle in classic Army fashion. Jim Harbaugh and Michigan should be counting their lucky stars that the defense was able to come up with a clutch play when it mattered most.
