VIDEO: Manny Machado Shows Love to Orioles Fans in Return to Camden Yards

Manny Machado was the biggest bright spot in Baltimore sports during his time with the O's. The San Diego Padres' infielder makes his return to Oriole Park at Camden Yards just a few months after signing a mega-deal with the Padres in the offseason. It's clear that Orioles fans still love their former shortstop, as they were clamoring for a chance at his signature ahead of Tuesday's clash.

Tuesday marks Machado's first game in Baltimore since being traded to the Dodgers last summer as a half-season rental. While he no longer dons the orange and black, it's clear that he remains a beloved figure within the city.

During his tenure in Baltimore, Machado hit 162 home runs and slashed .283/.335/.487 across seven seasons.

It was always expected that Machado would test the free agent market when his contract reached its end, which effectively forced the Orioles' hand as they traded the superstar to Los Angeles.

Machado has been a bright spot for the Padres this year, hitting .278 with 16 home runs, 47 RBIs and a .354 OBP. After a slow start, he's started to rediscover his form at the plate, and is starting to play up to the $300 million contract he signed.
