Joe Burrow is the equivalent of a king back in Louisiana right about now, and he got a royal reception when he returned to Baton Rouge after planting a Tiger flag in Bryant-Denny Stadium on Saturday. Following the Tigers' 46-41 win over Alabama, Burrow had a huge crowd waiting to greet him when he got home.

That's the sound of hundreds of raving LSU football fans all declaring their love for their Heisman hopeful quarterback, as he gave them happiness for the first time in eight years in the form of a win against their bitter rivals in Alabama.
And what better way to snap the losing streak than a statement victory in Tuscaloosa?
Burrow had himself a day against the Crimson Tide secondary and he cemented LSU's claim as the nation's best team. It's no surprise he's a hero back in Baton Rouge.

He was carried off the field by his LSU teammates and we're pretty sure these fans would have lifted him all the way home if he had asked.
Burrow is living his best life right now, and his reception upon arriving back in Baton Rouge is just living proof that there's no one more in-demand in Louisiana than the star QB.
