VIDEO: Lonzo Ball Pretty Much Says Big Baller Brand Shoes Are Trash

New Orleans Pelicans point guard Lonzo Ball went on teammate Josh Hart's podcast and essentially ripped apart his own signature shoes -- not literally though, because it turns out the Big Baller Brand ZO2's ripped themselves after one quarter of playing in them.

Ball has cut ties with everything BBB due to a financial dispute, even going as far as covering up the tattoo on his arm. BBB's objective was to create hype by charging absurd prices for the products, but with the brand's public implosion, they've been forced to hold clearance sales.

Lonzo's signature shoe, the ZO2, retailed at $495, which makes LeBron James' $185 signature shoe seem like a bargain. If you're going to pay $500 for basketball shoes, they better give you insane powers a la Calvin Cambridge in Like Mike.

Big Baller Brand was able to team up with Brandblack for a respectable version of the ZO2 that had improved performance and durability, but with BBB essentially dead, no one is going to pay full price for their products.

Ball is still a sneaker free agent, and has hooped in Nike and Adidas in the past. He also wore Space Jam Jordan 11s in his Pelicans photoshoot, so let's hope whatever shoes he chooses to wear in the future last longer than a quarter.
