LaMelo Ball made his NBL (National Basketball League in Australia) debut for the Illawarra Hawks last night, and for a high school kid who is just 18 years old, he held his own. Ball finished with 14 points on 6-of-11 shooting, three steals and two assists. Take a look:

Oh, and his team lost by 41 points. Thanks for making a note of it at the very bottom of the tweet, pretending that winning the game doesn't have any significance.

Of course, I'm sure the entire Ball family doesn't care about the final score.

LaMelo decided to forgo playing college basketball, and no matter what happens overseas, you can book it that he'll enter the NBA Draft once it roles around next June.

He has all the skills to be a legit player at the highest level. LaMelo might end up being better than his older brother, Lonzo.

One thing is for sure: There will be plenty of drama coming from the Ball family throughout this next year. It's only a matter of time until his father, LaVar, is talking up his youngest son and proclaiming he's the next great thing to come into the NBA.
