VIDEO: Joc Pederson Hits Leadoff Homer vs Rockies for 4th Bomb in 5 At-Bats
By Scott Rogust

To say Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Joc Pederson is on fire is a complete understatement. In the bottom half of the first inning of Wednesday night's game against the Colorado Rockies, Pederson hit a leadoff solo homer off pitcher Antonio Senzatela to give the Dodgers an early 1-0 lead.

In his last five plate appearances, Pederson has hit four homers and one double. This surge stems from Los Angeles' past three games, as Pederson left Tuesday night's game early after crashing into the right field wall while robbing a Charlie Blackmon home run.
Four homers in five at-bats? That's a power surge if we've ever seen one.
