VIDEO: Javier Baez Delivers Spectacular Tag to Nab Runner at 2nd Base in 9th Inning

Viva El Mago. Javier Baez is one the best all-around players in baseball, providing electricity at the plate and in the field. On a scorching hot Saturday afternoon in Chicago, Baez delivered incredible plays in both categories. First, Javy hit a 3-run bomb to give the Cubs they advantage, and then he made sure Chicago wouldn't relinquish the edge he previously provided. With the Padres trying to steal second base, Javy made a spectacular tag to nab the runner and stop the San Diego comeback in its tracks.

The Cubs have been on fire since the All-Star Break, and that continued with a win on Saturday against the Pads. As always, Baez is the catalyst.
