VIDEO: Jamal Adams Talking About Cowboys Proves Dallas Needs to Trade for Him in Offseason

It looks like the New York Jets front office knows the team is a mess and are trying to clear house. They unsuccessfully attempted to trade running back Le'Veon Bell before the deadline on Tuesday and also failed to move Jamal Adams despite reported attempts to do so. Adams was shocked and hurt to hear that news, comparing himself to Tom Brady in his rant about it. But when asked about the possibility of going to the Dallas Cowboys, he had a completely different tune.
Jets safety Jamal Adams: “That was one of the teams I told him I’d love to go to, the Dallas Cowboys. People got to understand, man, I was born and raised in Dallas. ... Michael Irvin is like my uncle.”

Adams, a Dallas native, went into detail about his love for the Cowboys growing up, and how he sees former Cowboy Michael Irvin as an uncle.
Unfortunately, the deadline has passed, but the Jets could be looking to move Adams over the offseason since now the relationship seems to be fractured after the news got out. Jerry Jones should get this done if any opportunity presents itself.
Obviously it would have been great for the Cowboys to acquire Jamal Adams on Tuesday.

But what if the way the Jets bungled the situation leads to Jamal refusing to play for them past 2019 to the point that he insists on a trade in the offseason and Dallas gets him for cheaper?
It's seems obvious Adams wants to play for America's team if the Jets don't want him, so the Dallas front office must do everything in their power to get him in the offseason. Yes, he will demand a huge contract extension at some point and will carry a high price in the trade talks, but this seems to be a match made in heaven.
