VIDEO: Illinois Special Teamer Trying to Re-Kick Blocked Punt Should Give Rutgers Fans Hope
By Chris Pyo

After a rough start to the season for Jim Harbaugh and Michigan football, the No. 16 Wolverines are facing off against an Illinois team that frankly has no business being in the same stadium as UM. Here's a perfect example of why:
The Illinois punter got his original punt blocked, then picked it up and tried to punt again. ?@UMichFootball is up big in downstate IL: pic.twitter.com/IEQGsGbo5O

Props to the Illinois punter for actually getting to the blocked punt first, before any Michigan defender could get his hands on the ball. It really wouldn't have mattered either way, seeing that the play was already on 4th and 16, but at least that punter can say he escaped the Wolverines den with his head still attached.
On the other hand, Rutgers football should find solace in the fact that they'll actually have a fighting chance in an upcoming matchup against the Illini.

One of these two teams will definitely be getting their first conference win next month, in a matchup between two Big Ten teams who have been an embarrassment this year.
