The No. 16 Michigan Wolverines battle the Illinois Fighting Illini in Week 7 of the NCAA Football season. The blue and maize earned tightly-contested win over Iowa last time out, while the Illini hope to snap a three-game losing streak.

The Wolverines rode a 10-point first quarter to a 10-3 victory over the Iowa Hawkeyes. Of course, their defense played a crucial role, intercepting quarterback Nathan Stanley three times and recording an impressive eight sacks. Shea Patterson will certainly need to play a better game and get some more points on the board in this one.

The constant over the Illini's three-game losing skid has been poor defense. They've allowed nearly 39 points per game over that stretch. Last week, the team only recorded one sack and allowed 333 rushing yards in a 40-17 loss to Minnesota. Maybe things will change against a Michigan offense that struggled last week.
The Wolverines are 22.5-point favorites in this one, as their offense hopes to make quick work of Illinois' less-than-stellar defensive unit.
