By Karl Rasmussen

Notre Dame and USC were in a back and forth battle in Week 7, but late in the game it was Notre Dame who started to break away. With three minutes left in the fourth quarter, the Fighting Irish had marched into the red zone, looking to extend their lead to 10. Ian Book dropped back to pass, but instead took off and found the end zone with his legs to make it a 30-20 ball game.
