Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett is supposed to be enjoying the team's bye week, something that the 2-4 team desperately needs. Garrett's act of kindness in public backfired, unfortunately. He took to Twitter on Wednesday to tell a story of a "fan" approaching his car for a picture, only for that individual to punch Garrett through his open window. While there's not any known video footage of the individual taking a swing at Garrett, we do have a clip of them driving away from the scene of the crime.

As you can see, a blue Chevrolet in the right half of the frame speeds off through a BP gas station parking lot in an attempt to bail.

Garrett joked with the camera man on Twitter, asking why he only filmed after the punch, but tweeted his appreciation for helping raise awareness all the same.

Garrett presented the video and the driver's license plate number to Cleveland police, who identified him as a 24-year-old man from Strongsville, Ohio. The police have not released the man's name to the public and have yet to charge the individual with any crime.
