Cleveland Browns stud edge rusher Myles Garrett stole headlines on Wednesday, and not for reasons anyone would have wanted.

Earlier today, a random fan recognized Garrett while he was driving through Cleveland, and he subsequently asked for a photo with the Pro Bowler. When Garrett rolled down his window to oblige, however, the fan socked him right in the face and proceeded to speed off in his car.

Well, fast forward to Wednesday evening, and authorities claim to have identified the suspect, who is apparently a 24-year-old man from Strongsville, Ohio. His name has not been made public as of this writing.

Garrett gave the man's license plate number to the police. He also had footage of the absolute clown speeding off in his vehicle that was handed over as evidence by an independent third party.

The police report indicated that the Texas A&M product identified the man after authorities showed him his photo. Charges, however, have not yet been filed.

Not only did this moronic fan not get his money's worth on the punch he landed on Garrett's face -- the stud defensive end claims to not even have flinched -- but his poor escape plan could very well see him booked on some manner of assault charge.

The fan is a bonafide dope for even dreaming of doing something like this, and we're relieved that Garrett is on the receiving end of some well-deserved justice... even though he clearly doesn't care that much about the ordeal whatsoever.
