VIDEO: Draymond Green Injures Elbow While Setting Screen in Home Opener vs Clippers

UPDATE:

Green did return to the game in the second quarter vs the Clippers.

Despite a red-hot Chase Center regular season debut for D'Angelo Russell, not all is well for the Warriors in their first home game of the season. Draymond Green left the game with an apparent elbow injury after setting a screen. His return is questionable at this point.

The screen didn't include all that much contact, which makes the injury all the more unfortunate as Golden State cannot afford another star on the mend, even at this early portion of the season. Klay Thompson's return is already unlikely at all this year, meaning the Dubs will have to rely even more on Steph Curry, Green and Russell to carry the load.

The post-Kevin Durant era was always going to take some getting used to, but any long-term ailment to Green will make it all the more difficult for Steve Kerr and Co.
