VIDEO: Dennis Eckersley Celebrating Like a Lunatic When He Played Proves He's Biggest Hypocrite Ever
By Parker White

There's no doubt that Toronto Blue Jays starter Marcus Stroman rubs people the wrong way. He loves to show excitement that is borderline showing up the opponent, but you know what you're getting when he takes the mound. It's easy to accept criticism from someone who played and didn't showboat, but why is Dennis Eckersley opening his mouth here and saying Stroman's antics are tired?
That's not Dennis Eckersley calling Stroman's celebrations "tired," is it?

I mean, Eck was famous for celebrating just about every time he struck a guy out. And you know what, I'm fine with it. But, don't be in the broadcast booth crushing an opposing player because you don't like it for some reason.
Literally, this guy's telling someone how to celebrate?!

What's good for the goose is good for the gander, Dennis.
Getting an out in the ninth inning as opposed to the an out in the sixth shouldn't matter. Now, maybe he didn't like Stroman screaming and staring at the Red Sox dugout, which is understandable. But, maybe Eckersley shouldn't be the messenger here in this case.
He did a lot of this stuff when he played, and he comes off as a big hypocrite in this situation.
