VIDEO: Bo Nix's Dad Went Wild After His Son Threw Game-Winning TD to Help Auburn Defeat Oregon

After struggling mightily for three quarters against a swarming Oregon defense, 19-year-old true freshman Auburn quarterback Bo Nix came alive in the fourth quarter, leading Gus Malzahn's group to a late win over future first-round pick Justin Herbert and the Ducks. The Nix clan grew up as Auburn diehards, and Bo's father got to see his son lead the Tigers to an upset victory against one of the best quarterbacks in the country.

This, really, is what it's all about.

Nix's stat line looks grotesque, as he completed just 13 of his 31 passes for 177 yards and was intercepted twice.

However, even at 19 years of age, Nix showed that he could handle the bright lights and big stage and keep his composure. That ice-cool resolve was missing in previous Auburn quarterbacks like Jeremy Johnson, Sean White and, to a degree, Jarrett Stidham.

Given the way Bo played in the fourth quarter, something tells me that this isn't going to be the last time that the Nix family is going to lose their minds in celebration at an Auburn game.
